Referrals still the most trusted way to hire

A recent survey asked companies how they filled their open positions.
The results: For white collar jobs, referrals are number one.
Almost half (46%) of those jobs were filled by referrals, according to a survey by the Inavero Institute for Service Research.
Why? According to a lot of companies, getting a reference from an employee you trust is one of the best ways to predict a new hire’s success.
